PSK / SKB tilt&slide windows
Tilt-and-slide windows combine the functionality of standard windows with the ability to slide the sash.
They are made with standard window profiles, making them look like other windows in the house. However, their sliding feature makes them an alternative to balcony windows. Opening them doesn’t require any free space in the room, as the sash slides paralel to the wall – tucking one behind the other. After turning the handle, the sash is lowered into the room using a special mechanism, allowing it to slide freely. The sash can also be tilted in the same way as a standard tilt-and-turn window. The rails and carriages mounted to the frame and sash are hidden under special covers. Sash sizes up to 160cm wide or weighing up to 200kg can be tilted and slided. When the window is closed, the sliding and fixed sash form a single even line, creating an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
