Wooden balcony windows
Balcony windows have a window threshold and a handle only from the inside of the room.
Balcony windows are typically larger windows designed to provide access to a terrace, balcony or garden. They have an extensions at the bottom of the sash (commonly called a kicker), which reinforces the structure and protects against accidental damage to the glass. They are closed with a standard window handle which is mounted from the interior side. Balcony windows are made of profiles whose shape, dimensions and finishing matches those of standard window profiles – giving them the appearance of other windows in the house. The lower part of the balcony window – called the threshold – is identical to that of standard window. Low thresholds can also be used, which can be learned more on the product card.
